Conflict Material Declaration
General Metal Finishing is aware of the Dodd-Frank Act regarding purchasing minerals or their derivatives determined by the US Secretary of State to be financing the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries. General Metal Finishing supports the Act and understands the importance of this issue in light of well documented events in the region.
We wish to notify our customers and potential customers that GMF has procedures in place to help ensure that out suppliers comply with the expectations outlined in the Act. In support of this, we have asked our suppliers to continuously monitor supply chains to avoid procurement of materials from conflict regions, and to be forthright in sharing their compliance information with us.
General Metal Finishing has surveyed our suppliers of Gold & Tin and assurances have been obtained that, as far as it is possible to know, no metal derived from conflict materials are used in their manufacturing process. Upon request, a Conflict Mineral Report (CMR) of the latest revision will be provided.
